The Problem With Weight-Loss Pills

Every few years the drug companies release a new weight-loss pill that promises to help people lose weight effortlessly. The latest pill - Qnexa by Vivus - actually does work. During clinical trials, the average user lost 10.6 percent of their body weight. So what's the problem? Why didn't the advisory committee to the FDA give Qnexa their stamp of approval?
